November 23, 2007

I been watching this movie in English class for the last couple of days and it’s is beautiful. At points, the acts of charity that Shindler made almost made shed a tear. It’s such a good movie and I think everyone should watch it.

If you never watched it, here’s a summary.

Schindler’s List is a 1993 biographical film directed by Steven Spielberg, telling the story of Oskar Schindler, a German businessman who saved the lives of over one thousand Polish Jews during the Holocaust. It was based on the book Schindler’s Ark by Thomas Keneally, and starred Liam Neeson as Schindler, Ralph Fiennes as the SS officer Amon Göth, and Ben Kingsley as Schindler’s accountant Itzhak Stern. The film was a box office success, and won several Academy Awards, including Best Film and Best Director.
